Inbox.exe
A downloadable game
Hello,
You have received access to inbox.exe.
This is not a traditional game.
This is a desktop.
This is an inbox.
This is a slow, creeping responsibility simulator disguised as email software.
Your task is simple on paper: read emails and reply.
Your problem is that nothing stays simple for long.
⚠ CONTENT WARNING
This experience may include:
- Flashing or rapidly changing UI elements
- High-contrast visuals and simulated CRT-style effects
- Psychological pressure and unsettling themes
- Work-related stress, manipulation, and emotional discomfort
Players with photosensitivity, anxiety disorders, or susceptibility to stress should proceed with caution.
What is inbox.exe?
inbox.exe is a narrative-driven, infinite email experience where you interact with messages from coworkers, developers, users, bots, broken systems, and things that should probably not have an email address.
There is no map.
There are no characters walking around.
There is only your inbox — and the consequences of responding.
Some emails are mundane.
Some are technical.
Some are emotional.
Some are clearly mistakes.
Some are… not.
You decide what to answer.
You decide what to ignore.
The inbox remembers.
If you believe you received this email in error, please reply anyway.
Regards,
